Devin’s workspace is packed with beautiful, color-changing LED strips, and the effect looks great. He has three displays, a gorgeous framed, illuminated view of the Carina nebula, and an aquarium in his workspace, and we’re jealous.
The shot at the top is a good pulled-back view of everything in his workspace. Devin explains:
The desk and aquarium, plus my makeshift bookshelf with a framed, illuminated view of the Carina nebula, so I can think about space travel when I should be working and/or reading.
To boot, he notes that the three panels are powered by a 15″ MacBook Pro, and yes, if you couldn’t tell, that’s the Master Chief over there standing guard over the whole thing. Devin also notes that he can change the colors of the LED strips at any time, like this all-green vibe below:
Here’s a closer shot of the desk surface, and the tools he uses to actually get things done:
Looks like an iPad down there too, and all three displays connected by a single mount, which I love seeing in these multiple monitor setups. Also digging the headphone stand and audio control over there on the far right as well, although his Flickr photos don’t tell us too much about that extra stuff.
In any event though, if you like what you see, head over to his Flickr page (linked below) and let him know you like it. He has some more photos of his setup as well that you can browse through. Let him know we sent you, and that we love his work!
If you have a workspace of your own to show off, share them with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool. Make sure any photos you include are at least 1280×720. Keeping them to 16:9 helps, too! Include a little text about the stuff you used, how you came up with the design, and any other relevant details. If your clever organization and good design sense catches our eye, you might be the next featured workspace!
