Warcraft Preview Goes Inside the Lion's Pride Inn

War begins this summer as the Orcs and humans fight for the realm of Azeroth in Warcraft. The action kicks off in international territories on May 25 before reaching U.S. theaters on June 10. To celebrate the impending release, Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures have released a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette that goes inside the Lion’s Pride Inn.

Star Robert Kazinsky is on hand to give a tour of this iconic establishment. He reveals all the intimate detail that went into creating something that looked like it fell right out of the hugely popular video game upon which the movie is based. New footage is revealed. And we get to see some of the human actors working on the set. This follows the big debut of the full-length trailer that dropped last week.

The Warcraft movie is shaping up to be one of this summer’s biggest movies when it hits theaters nationwide on June 10. This fantasy adventure is set in the realm of Azeroth, which has enjoyed peace for hundreds of years. Now this magical land stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders. Orc warriors are fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

The Warcraft movie stars Travis Fimmel, Dominic Cooper, Ben Foster, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Robert Kazinsky and Daniel Wu. This action epic is directed by Duncan Jones from a script he co-wrote with Charles Leavitt. Warcraft is a Legendary Pictures, Blizzard Entertainment and Atlas Entertainment production.

Warcraft is produced by Charles Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Alex Gartner and Stuart Fenegan. Jillian Share, Brent O’Connor, Michael Morhaime and Paul Sams serve as executive producers. Rob Pardo, Chris Metzen, Nick Carpenter and Rebecca Steel Roven co-produce. Warcraft will go up against a pair of sequels on June 10, Lionsgate’s Now You See Me 2 and Warner Bros.’ The Conjuring 2.

Warcraft could be just the second video game movie ever to break the $100 million milestone at the domestic box office, following Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, which earned $131.1 million back in 2001. Will this be the movie that finally makes video game adaptations a hit at the box office? Take a look at the new Warcraft behind-the-scenes featurette, and stay tuned for more on this epic video game adventure.
